Roma Fiction Fest 2010: un prodotto tutto italiano PDF Print E-mail

Roma, 5 luglio 2010 – Al via ieri il “Roma Fiction Fest 2010”, la manifestazione che ha trasformato Roma e il Lazio nella più importante vetrina dedicata alla fiction italiana e internazionale, ospitando i più celebri protagonisti del piccolo schermo e gli operatori del settore.

 

      

 

Giunto alla sua quarta edizione, il “Roma Fiction Fest 2010”, la cui direzione generale è affidata a Michele Misuraca, mentre alla direzione artistica troviamo Steve Della Casa, ha presentato ieri in conferenza stampa tutte le novità di questa kermesse. In apertura l’incontro con Barry Jossen, Executive Vice President, Studio Creative & Producyion ABC Entertainment Group, che presenta in esclusiva nuovi attesissimi contenuti della produzione tv ABC Studios, con la firma della Walt Disney Company Italia.

 

Una chicca attesissima è la proiezione in anteprima al di fuori degli States dell’episodio pilota di Boody of proof, la nuova serie con Dana Delany, che racconta la storia della dottoressa Megan Hunt, un brillante neurochirurgo, il cui mondo si capovolge quando le conseguenze di un devastante incidente d’auto le chiudono le porte della sala operatoria. Megan inizia così una carriera come patologa, determinata a scoprire le cause della morte delle vittime di crimini. E ancora l’incontro con la mente e il volto di Criminal Minds, Simon Mirren e il dottor Spencer Reid, Matthew Gray Gubler. Sull’orange carpet romano sfileranno inoltre Kevin Mckidd di Grey’s Anatomy, Naveen Andrews di Lost e Stana Katic di Castle.

 

La serata ha poi visto l’omaggio a Pietro Taricone, scomparso pochi giorni fa, con tutto il cast di Tutti pazzi per amore 2, nel quale Taricone canta “Adesso tu”, di Eros Ramazzotti, e il regista Riccardo Dilani che ha letto un messaggio di elogio in ricordo del giovane attore. Nel corso della manifestazione del “Roma Fiction Fest 2010”, che si svolgerà dal 5 al 10 luglio, vedremo anticipazioni delle prossime fiction autunnali e anteprime di lavori in corso. Presente ieri tutto il cast di Ho sposato uno sbirro 2, prodotta dalla Lux Vide di Matilde e Luca Bernabei, i quali hanno descritto al meglio il carattere dello stile Lux, ricordando lavori come Don Matteo, Callas e Onassis e Pinocchio. Protagonista è Flavio Insinna con un cast d’eccezione quale Luisa Corna, Antonio Catania, Barbara Bouchet, Giovanna Ralli e Christiane Filangeri, orgogliosi della riuscita della fiction l’autunno scorso.

Australia floods cause years of damage

 Australia's flood-stricken coal industry may face months of disruptions as reports emerge of key rail and road links being washed away, while some infrastructure may take years to repair, authorities said on Friday. "There are some aspects of the rebuilding of infrastructure that will take, potentially, years," Major-General Mick Slater, chief of the flood recovery operation in Queensland state, told a news conference in Rockhampton.

For decades, many children here have been given away to other families, usually ones they do not know, by parents who are too poor to feed and clothe them.  Accra, Ghana - Ghana's president has said he does not think military force will solve the post-election deadlock in Ivory Coast. The international community has recognised Mr Ouattara as the winner of November's presidential election and urged Mr Gbagbo to quit.
 Budapest, Hungary - After a warning from the EU that the controversy over Hungary's broad new media law could undermine the country's six-month presidency of the bloc, Prime Minister Viktor Orban abandoned his fiery language against the law's European critics, emphasizing that he would make changes if the law proved incompatible with European legislation.
 Tokyo, Japan - A U.S. envoy said he had productive discussions with Japanese officials about the crisis on the Korean peninsula, ending a week of meetings in three countries on ending tensions between North and South Korea. Stephen Bosworth, Washington's special envoy for North Korea policy, met with Japanese Vice Foreign Minister Kenichiro Sasae for about 30 minutes. He arrived in Tokyo after holding similar talks in Beijing and Seoul.

 Camberra, Australia - A former inmate at the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay has dropped a lawsuit against the Australian government that accused it of complicity in torture he says he suffered while in detention. Mamdouh Habib reached an out-of-court settlement with the government for an undisclosed sum, both parties said Saturday. Habib, an Australian citizen, was arrested in Pakistan in late 2001 and held for three years without charge before being returned to Australia in 2005.
